I wore my new 1798 Kate Greenaway gown with its green racing stripes to a regency picnic. The regency picnic was themed, rather than strictly historical, so I could play around with my styling,, and after everything that gown had put me through, I reckoned I’d earned it!

Spring Picnic with the Hemwick Regency Society
At the Hemwick Regency Society picnic, i learned two things – the first, that croquet is surprisingly intense for a laid-back lawn game, and the second – that i am really really bad at it.
