An Accidental Sewing Renaissance

In the basement of a small hotel in Luxembourg, next to the vending machine and illuminated by the light from the ladies loo, there was space to set up an ironing board.

Sewing something large on holidays takes determination, a certain amount of problem-solving, and the ability to iron in very low-light conditions.

Lit like a renaissance painting, an ironing board is draped in a long green 1790s gown. The ironing board stands in a shaft of life between a bathroom door and a vending machine.
